The 20-year-old fills the void left by Trevor Carson's surprise recall to Sunderland and goes straight into the Imps squad to face Rotherham on Friday night.
The Northampton-born stopper, who came on as a late substitute in Lincoln's pre-season friendly against the Villans in July 2008, has also been capped for England at youth level.
A product of Villa's highly-acclaimed Academy, Parish was part of the side that won the Premier Academy League championship and reached the FA Youth Cup semi-finals in 2007/08 before signing professional terms.
