Peter Jackson Returns To Sincil Bank

Jacko has been out of action since the 1-0 win over Wycombe in March, but following the conclusion of his treatment he is well on the road to recovery. However as he hasn'tt yet been given the all clear Jacko won't be returning on a permanent basis just yet.

However as he enjoyed a glass of Champagne with Steff Wright and the caretaker team of Iffy Onuora and Grant Brown, Jacko made it clear promotion is the aim.

"I came to this club to achieve honours and to take this club forward to the next level and nothing has changed while I have been away" said the former Chester and Bradford player.

"This club should be fighting for promotion next season and I would be bitterly disappointed if we were not.

"Providing I can get the players that I want, then we will have a great chance of getting out of this league.

"I'm already talking to players and have spoken to four or five about coming here and being part of what I'm trying to achieve. I'm building for success and I won't settle for second best."

As yet new signings haven't materialised, but it is very much early days in the race for signatures pre season. Its good to see Jacko back on his feet and back at Sincil Bank.
