Paul Green Gets 3 Match Ban

Green was sent off for a 38th minute percieved 'double footed lunge', despite not making contact with the opposing player.

Lincoln will not be speaking to the FA about the decision, as local media and team management seem to agree as soon as two feet come off the ground a red card will be shown.

However replays appear to show no contact being made, and Brentfords Kevin O'Connor making a meal of the challenge.

The tackle added to ill feeling between the sides, as Andy Scott the Brentford manager didn't want to play the game. He did want to play because he thought the pitch was unplayable. However it would seem more likely he knew that Nathan Elder and Alan Bennett were out, and would be back for any rearranged fixture.
