Lincoln City Med’s recent article, asking for a fans armistice has been removed due to references to Poacher Imp. The article attributed comments made by Gary Hutchinson on his Mascot Diaries blog, to Poacher Imp the club Mascot. It was not our intention to bring Lincoln City FC, the club we love, this sites raison d’etre into disrepute or indeed to upset Poacher.
We also misread the article’s use of the term media whore which, Gary Hutchinson assures us was not attributed to our editor Neil Hobbs, nor indeed any of the words in the article the views of Poacher Imp the club Mascot.
Therefore we apologise for the article and have removed it immediately.
We ask again for a line in the sand.
