LCM Salutes Captain Facey

Last updated : 16 March 2011 By Neil Hobbs

Delroy Facey has really come into his own this season after finally signing full time from Notts County. His four goals in 36 games tell just a fraction of the story as the inspirational Lincoln Tank made the captaincy his own

X-rays show an anterior dislocation of his left shoulder and our Captain will see a specialist over the next week or so to determine whether surgery is required.  But either way the man who helped to turn around the dressing room and ultimately performances on the pitch, will have to miss the rest of the system.

Even though we lost that Wycombe game when Delboy took the armband you could see the togetherness and desire that had been missing for so long. You are inspirational you will be missed because you truly are a tank. The tank  was invented in Lincolnshire  and how apt that we had won in our midst to help us through a relegation battle.

Well with just 5 points needed for the 50 you can consider your job done Delboy

Lincoln City Mad salutes you

Take a bow Captain Facey, take a bow son
