Trevor Carson has been recalled by Sunderland under the 24 hour clause in his loan due to the fitness issues over the Black Cat’s first two keepers, especially Number One choice Craig Gordon’s dodgy knee.
Tilson will have to bring in a keeper before Friday as there is thankfully no recall clause in calamity keeper Joe Anyon’s loan deal with Morecambe, after Sunderland ordered Carson back to the Stadium of Light.
Jonny Brain who had been tipped to join the Imps before Carson came in at the last minute is out of favour at Walsall.
