Up for an award - Alexander
The hard working boss guided The Imps to three victories out of three scoring nine goals in the process beating promotion rivals Darlington, Northampton and Yeovil 3-0, 3-2 and 3-1 respectively.

Keith is up against Brian Laws (Scunthorpe), Graham Barrow (Bury) and Steve Parkin (Rochdale) for the award. If he is succesful it will be the first triumph for an Imps boss in five years. The last time City won was during the ill fated reign of Chairman / Manager John Reames in October 1999.

"We anticipated Keith would be in the running because we've had a great month," said current City chairman Rob Bradley. "He thoroughly deserves to be nominated, and it is great the club is finally receiving some credit. Anyone who has seen us play in the last three or four weeks has witnessed some excellent performances and really entertaining football."

"We've had this tag of being a long ball side for a while now, but the sides we've played have been surprised at how well we pass the ball around."

The outcome will be known on Thursday.
