City managed a comfortable win this afternoon over local rivals Lincoln Utd, after a succesful community day saw record numbers enjoy the Imps hospitality.

City started with a first XI vastly different to the one than started against Villa, with Lee Frecklington and Lee Beevers starting the game, and trialist Sa Mullarkey given a start after missing out Tuesday.

The game was as one sided as you'll see all season with Lincoln Utd really struggling to get into the game from the start. Sam Mullarkey took his chance to shine and grasped it woth both hands as he made it 1-0. The goal had been superbly created by neat play from Dany N'Guessan and David Graham. It was Scotsman Graham who made it 2-0 before the break.

The second half came and City fielded a completely different XI, and it was Romanian trialist Adrian Patulea who added a third straight after the restart from an Aaron Brown centre.

The Imps were completely in control now, and it wasn't long before it was 4-0. Warlow again crossed the ball in and Patulea nodded it into the net. It was Patulea again who made it 5-0, latching on to Oakes' ball before slotting into an empty net.

Gary King ended a great afternoon for City by making it 6-0 close to the end.
