Moyses Saves Imps Youth.

From youth trainee, to a first team debut against Scunthorpe, then a career at Halifax before returning to run the show. Its full circle for  Chris Moysesa true stakeholder at the Imps Fountain Of Youth and owner of EM Contracts who have more gas than Bristol Rovers.

Lincoln City Mad applaud the incredibly generous actions of Chris Moyses, for effectively saving the Youth set up.  With the Imps facing a £91k halving of funding  this year, followed by a full £182k cut next, the millionaire owner of EM Contracting has stepped in.

Though it is unclear as to whether this is a temporary or full reprieve Chris has sufficiently plugged the gap this year for things to continue.  Our benevolent benefactor has an affinity with the youth set up having risen through its ranks before debuting against Scunthorpe (FL Trophy 1-1) in 1982. He would make 5 appearances before moving on to Halifax.

Chris will become a part time coach along with Grant Brown who is also happy to be keeping his job as the head of youth. Chris has thus far bankrolled Lincoln Moorlands rise up the non League pyramid to Northern Counties East League but parted company as manager and sugar daddy last Saturday.

The plans are to make the centre of youth a stand alone business in its own right. Chris will hopefully be the first of several local businessmen to invest in a future conveyor belt of talent that would be self funding.

Thanks Chris from all at LCM,

Fancy a go on the board?
