The home shirt, which should be on general sale for the first home game of
the season against Carlisle, received an overwhelming positive reaction from
the vast majority of Imps supporters when it was unveiled. The traditional
revival of bold red-and-white stripes with black shorts immediately appealed
to supporters.

Dan Ellmore, Director of Impsport, said, "We are very pleased with the
positive response that this years shirt has received from the fans."

Despite the kit of last season bringing a generally mixed response, Ellmore
revealed that, "Last years home shirt was the club's best selling replica
shirt."

"We took instructions for both last year's kit and this years from the club,
who used feedback from the fans for the basis of their request to us, and so
we make the shirts to their instructions."

"So in the case of both kits, we were confident that the club and the fans
would like them."
