Jamie McCombe finally becomes a City player

6'5 Centre back Jamie McCombe has finally managed to free himself from Glanford Park and is now a City player.
McCombe got his wish at last after a five week transfer saga that has been well documented. However the wrangles and arguments ceased as McCombe was snapped posing in a City shirt in Thursdays Lincolnshire Echo. It was a pleasing end to a roller coaster ride for the defender.
McCombe will make his debut at home to Mansfield Town on Saturday in place of the suspended Ben Futcher. McCombe himself will be ruled out of the Imps forthcoming clash with Kidderminster after getting sent off in Tuesdays Scunthorpe versus York City game.
