Hughes has signed a 1 year deal despite the attention of top Irish outfit Linfield. 20 year old left footer Hughes has been on trial with the Imps for the past three weeks as well as having a spell here in the summer.
Hughes will be included in the squad that travels to Rushden on saturday and has been handed the number 24 shirt.
