Evans Watching Kevin Gall

Last updated : 13 October 2008 By Gary Hutchinson

Gall has lost his place in the City side recently to Adrian Patulea and Lenny John-Lewis, and despite a couple of substitute appearances has done nothing to justify his inclusion. However now ex Boston manager Steve Evans has admitted to local press that he has been watching the situation.

Evans admitted enquiring whether or not there was a recall option on Galls contract with City which could be invoked by Carlisle boss John Ward, but was informed that there wasn't.

Evans has been alerted to Gall by his omission from the Imps starting line up recently, and having seen him in action first hand for Yeovil whilst at York Street has decided he could aid Crawleys charge up the non league pyramid which Evans is hoping ends in a league place come May next year.

However reports suggest that Gall has laughed off the suggestion that he might drop out of the league claiming 'I am better than the conference'. This is a claim that the pacey striker has yet to back up whilst in the red and white of City.

Gall is at Sincil Bank until January 5th, when a decision will be made about his long term future.
