Ipoua - A new dimension to the Imps forward line

Ipoua has had a six year career in England which started when Bristol Rovers signed him. He spent one season raising eyebrows at The Memorial Ground before Scunthorpe took him to Glanford Park. After 23 goals for the Iron he moved to Gillingham, before shifting north of the border to sign for Livingston. He comes to the Imps from Doncaster Rovers on a months loan via a month stint at Mansfield earlier this season. Ipoua hasn't hit the net however since 4th February 2003 when he netted for Gillingham in a 2-1 defeat against Leeds in the FA Cup. However he is a big bustling striker who will possibly be a key target man for the teasing passes of Taylor Fletcher and Peter Gain. Twenty nine year old Ipoua goes straight into the squad for tomorrows away trip to Rochdale.

The signing of Bermingham can be seen as a bit of a coup for City. He comes from Manchester City armed with an impressive CV. He has netted 10 goals for Man City reserves including 4 in a 5-1 win over Manchester rivals United in a Senior Cup Clash last week. Those four were rattled past Man Utds American international keeper Tim Howard! He's also represented Eire and various youth levels, most notably scoring a hat trick in a 10-1 victory over Spain for the under 19's. He will join Ipoua in the squad for tomorrows game.
