Dean West challenges Jamie Scowcroft in a division one tussle
The Imps made a batch of new signings on the eve of their trip to France.

Ex Imp Dean West dropped down two divisions from Burnley to join his old side, giving the defence a wider feel following the departure of Mark Bailey.
Also boosting the defence is the giant Peter Foulkes also heading along the M62 and down the A1 this time from Bradford City. Foulkes is a highly rated 19 year old who spent a portion of last season on loan with Farsley Celtic.

Ex Wrexham winger Michael Blackwood also signed having been with now defunct Telford. Blackwood also had spells in the black country with Wolves and their Midlands rivals Aston Villa as a trainee. Blackwood is a left footed player adding options to Keith plans in the wake of Kevin Ellison refusing a contract.

Whilst on tour it has been reported that City have also signed Northern Ireland international Ciaran Toner from Leyton Orient. Perhaps an influence inside the camp will see Paul Morgan finally get the call up he deserves. Either way Toners experience and midfield skills will surely boost Keiths squad for next season.
