Trialists Impress In Imps Reserves

Amongst a strong reserve line-up for the Imps were two mystery names – striker, Sinsia Savic and midfielder, Rocky White.

Sinsia Savic (20) is currently on the books at First Division, Barnsley. He has figured in the Tykes' reserve team, registering 5 goals in 12 appearances last season. Due to a lack of first team opportunities, he was briefly loaned out to Conference side, Scarborough. Today, he plays his first team football at UniBond Premier side Frickley Athletic. It is believed his three-month loan deal at Frickley has come to an end, so he is keen to seek trials at other clubs.

Rocky White, who plays for Unibond Division One side, Eastwood Town, is a central midfield player. White scored 7 goals for the ‘Badgers' last season and is a popular team member at the Nottinghamshire club.

During City's reserve game, Savic showed some neat touches and was able to make a nuisance of himself. Savic slammed a shot against the upright in the dying stages of the game. White had a fine game, linking up well with Justin Walker in the centre of the park.

The Imps' next reserve outing is Wednesday 13th February, away at Doncaster Rovers. (7pm K/O). City supporters will have to keep an eye out for these two names once again.
