Jason Barnett, the other main absentee, is making progress with his groin injury. He has completed a fair amount of work with the ball and is starting to feel stronger. After failing to make the Imps’ reserve outing at York City on Wednesday night, he is inevitably ruled out of Saturday’s game. Black did also not figure in the midweek reserve game.
Mark Camm is now back to full training and coped well in the recent reserve fixture. Richard Logan completed another 90 minutes for City’s reserves, as he continues his build-up to fitness. The experienced Grant Brown and the young Paul Morgan restrict Logan from making the step up to the first eleven.
Otherwise, Alan Buckley has no fresh injury problems.
