The Treatment Room #4

Kingsley Black is back in the frame after recovering from a troublesome hamstring injury. After a month's absence, Black finds himself straight in at the deep end, as manager Alan Buckley is keen to see him back in the first team. The versatile former Forest man is included in tomorrow's squad to face Southend United.

It's two in, two out, as Camm and Buckley are now on the ‘available' list, while Bailey and Sedgemore have injuries.

Camm has shaken off a thigh strain, so may be pushing for a starting berth on Saturday. Wingman Adam Buckley (hip) also featured for the Imps' second string in midweek and is expected to take up his usual spot on the bench.

Mark Bailey is a definite non-starter for the weekends clash as he sits it out with an Achilles tendon strain. The right back is set to be out for up to two to four weeks, depending on the rate of his recovery.

One other injury doubt is Ben Sedgemore. The reliable midfield man faces a late fitness test following a calf strain. A place on the bench is the likely outcome.

Elsewhere, Richard Logan and Jason Barnett continue on their road to recovery, getting games under their belt all the time. Logan is building on his fitness levels, while Barnett is showing slower progress – yet to begin on the weights and still to lower his body fat levels after a prolonged absence.

Long-term absentee Steve Holmes has stepped up his rehabilitation programme over the last week or so – now testing himself on a few bike rides along with the use of a static bike at the Fitness First gymnasium. Hopefully in a couple of weeks, he can go a step further by doing a bit of jogging.
