The three-man FA panel have today announced their verdict with regards to sixteen charges brought against the club for alleged contractual irregularities.

  • The club will be fined £100,000
  • The club will begin their Division Three season with 4 points deducted.
  • The cases against suspended manager Steve Evans and former chairman Pat Malkinson have been adjourned, and so Evans remains suspended by the club pending the inquiry’s outcome.
  • Boston United FC are set to appeal against the punishment, Chief Executive Des Wood labelling it “excessive”.

The case against Evans and Malkinson continues and so the saga looming over York Street has not been fully laid to rest….
