Imps rookie boss Chris Sutton will not be contesting an improper conduct charge from the Football Association.
Sutton was dismissed amid violent and chaotic scenes during our 1-1 draw with Cheltenham 12 days ago.
Substitutes Ian Pearce and ex Imp Barry Richardson were also red-carded in the melee during the stormy contest at Sincil Bank.
An FA spokesman says a commission will now consider the case by 11 December.
Sutton was his usual calm self in the aftermath of the incident claiming:
"With the benefit of hindsight maybe we would have acted differently, but it's an emotional game."
