Something Not Quite White

Behind the scenes, at City's neighbours United, there seems to be some tension between White and the club's playing staff.

White publicly chastised club travelling arrangements after an incident on the away trip to Rossendale – quite comically, the team coach left without him, leaving a very angry White, stranded.

According to the Lincolnshire Echo, a subsequent bust-up occurred on last week's journey back from Witton Albion.

White fumed bitterly, “Player power will not take over and I will not give the club another penny.”

His wife, Shuzhen Tang added, “It is disgraceful the way Willy is being treated and he will not travel to see United play again.”

A vice-chairman not willing to put money into the club, not willing to travel to spur his team on – something's wrong.

Club officials declined to comment.
