Robins Watchin - The Form Of The Foe

Last updated : 25 January 2011 By Neil Hobbs

Cheltenham Town are a side reborn this term under Mark Yates who  saved them from the drop last year. The Robins are certainly bob, bob, bobbin along and look good for a playoff punt this season after another impressive scalp at Port Vale on Saturday.   They beat our next opponents  thanks to a winner from number 9 Jeff Goulding, who notched his 9th of the season courtesy of right back and Valiant old boy Keith Lowe’s assist.

Thirteen goal Wesley Thomas and Brian Smikle, with 6 assists, will also provide food for thought for an Imps defence that let in another 3 on Saturday.  The danger will come from all over the park, Joshua Low,  Keith Lowe, Danny Andrew, Wesley Thomas, Sean Jeffers have also set up 3 or more goals this season,

Andy Gallinagh their in form centreback will not be playing instead undergoing a hernia operation on the day of the game. There is further good news for the Imps attack with centre half Martin Riley also unlikely to make the game.
