Rene Howe In Imps Talks

Peterborough Today have announced that Rene Howe held talks with City over the weekend with a view to a move to Sincil Bank.

Howe started at Kettering Town in 2006 from his home town club, Bedford, after impressing for them. He notched 25 goals and helped the Poppies to finish as runners-up in the Conference North. A move to Peterborough followed.

After struggling to break into the Posh first team Howe went out on loan first to Rochdale, and then last season to Morecombe.

He is available on a free transfer from Peterborough, but its also rumoured that Notts County and Yeovil are interested. Yeovil would seem a likely destination, but whether Howe would want a move so far South West is another matter.
