The match officials initially decided to have a look at 5.30pm last night, but have now delayed their inspection until this morning.
It was thought midweek the game could be called off, but milder temperatures raised hopes that it could go ahead.
However now overnight rain and melted snow have put the game in jeopardy once more.
The 9.00am pitch inspection is planned with travelling Imps in mind, with most fans departing Lincoln at 10am.
