Pembleton was injured trying to meet a Jamie Forrester cross in the second half of our excellent 2-1 win at Morecombe on Saturday, and the Imps physio Michael 'Slick' Wait has confirmed that the injury has ended the youngsters season.

Pembleton has looked impressive since breaking through into the first team in the last few weeks, and although his season is over he is at the beginning of a very promising career with City. Indeed The Imps faithful have already dubbed their new homegrown cult hero 'The Rat'.
