Nat Brown Leaves City

Nat Brown has made 94 appearances for City since his move from Huddersfield, netting 8 goals along the way. However he has found his first team chances restricted under Peter Jackson, and it came as little surprise that he yesterday left the club by mutual consent.

Nat was often a much maligned figure after his move, and his Lincoln career was blighted by inconsistency. One day he'd look every inch a capable defender, the next day he looked like he'd only been introduced to a football an hour before. He did have any eye for a spectacular goal, but as he featured at centre back he rarely got to unleash the piledriver.

The signing of Jan Kovacs gives Jacko the 'big man' at the back he requires, and clearly he doesn't see Nat as a midfield force or a forward player so he's on his way.

It was confirmed that Nat this morning signed a deal with Wrexham.
