Millwall Striker Set To Stay At Imps

Millwall menace turned Sincil striker, Ashley Grimes, looks set to stay at Lincoln City until the end of the season at least.  Tilson has been quick to get on the dog and bone to Millwall who do not appear to have an issue with the player remaining in Lincolnshire until the end of the season. At season's end Tilson would then like to make the deal a permanent one, more realistic than we may think given the player is out of contract on June 30th.

Thankfully, it would appear the 24 year old also wants to stay at the Imps until the end of the season to finish his mission. He will then ominously assess his options as a free agent in the summer. According to Sporting Horton’s BBC Radio Lincolnshire team the lad wants to stay put given this snippet from his own lips.

Grimes said:"I feel as though I'm a part of this team and I want to help to get them up the table so I'd like to stay for the remainder of the season if possible."

An optimistic Tilson also old BBC Lincolnshire: "He wants to keep his options open but he wants to stay to the end of the season and if Millwall are happy, then that's a goer. There's also a possibility that we could get him on a permanent deal."
