Millers Reeling - 1st Pope To Vale & Maybe ALF To Huddersfield

Last updated : 28 January 2011 By Neil Hobbs

With Tom Pope having sealed a deal to Port Vale (next up at the Imps)  Adam Le Fondre now looks set for a switch to Huddersfield Town in a double blow for the Millers. With all that cash from the Arsenal cup clash to come The Terriers, third in League One on goal difference,  have allegedly made a bid or two and now the price does not appear to be that far away suggesting he could yet move in the winter window.

Meanwhile Tom Pope is set to start at Sincil Bank tomorrow  leaving Rotherham reeling.  The Valiants were desperate to increase their firepower after a shot shy eight games that had garnered just 4 points in 8 games. One win one draw and 6 defeats has seen new Boss Jim Gannon’s side slip from the automatics.

With a cut of the hefty transfer fee from the Terriers and the chance of promotion ALF is unlikely to stick around at the Millers surely? The Millers are also under pressure to return to Rotherham or forfeit their £750.000 bond with the League.
