Lincoln to run rule over trialist Bradley Barraclough

Lincoln City manager Steve Tilson says he will take a further look at trialist Bradley Barraclough after he impressed in the 4-0 pre-season win at Ilkeston.The Lincolnshire-born striker, 22, recently graduated from a scholarship at Bellarmine University in the US.

Tilson told BBC Lincolnshire: "He's a bit raw but he's got a good attitude.

"I want players with a desire to do well and he's worked hard in training. He's done well enough for us to keep him on for another week."

Barraclough is now likely to feature in Lincoln's pre-season matches at Barton Town Old Boys on Tuesday and at Brigg Town on Wednesday.

Jamie Taylor, Gavin McCallum, Andy Hutchinson and Josh Gowling were on the scoresheet in the 4-0 victory at Evo-Stik First Division South side Ilkeston in the Imps' first pre-season match.
