LCM returns after brief holiday

Last updated : 20 July 2009 By Peter Muxlow

Apologies to all LCM fans, but we have to holiday just like evryone else! However we are now back and ready to take you into the new season with Lincoln City.

We have some juicy stuff for you today as well, keep an eye out for the very latest on the transfer dealings at Sincil Bank.

In our absence very little has happened in the public eye. We drew 1-1 with Boston Utd in a friendly, with Chris Fagan opening his account with a smart strike, only for ex Rotherham player Marc Newsham to score an equalisor for Boston from the penalty spot. The Imps fielded trialists Rob Gradwell, Ryan Wilkie and Paul Connor, with Jacko confirming he'd look at Gradwell and Connor again but Wilkie hadn't shown enough to warrant a second look.

Yesterday the club were beaten 4-1 by Stamford, but in actual fact it was the Under 18 side that played. The senior side will be in action tonight against Arsenal.
