Kovacs Leaves City

Sky Sports News is reporting that Janos Kovacs has left Lincoln City today after having his contract terminated by mutual consent.

Kovacs has been looking to leave the Bank in this transfer window, with Luton Town favourites for his signature.

Kovacs came to City in 2008 from Chesterfield and quickly established himself as a fans favourite.

However Peter Jacksons sacking spelled the end for Kovacs as Chris Sutton looked to bring in his own men. Adam Watts' arrival pushed Kovacs further down the pecking order.

LCM wishes the giant Hungarian every success in the future.
