Kerr Agrees New Deal

There had been some speculation as to whether or not Scott Kerr would sign a new deal, but after three years with the club he has revealed he will be continuing for at least two more seasons.

Kerr would have possibly featured as player of the year had it not been for a four match suspension late on in the season, which was a remarkable turnaround for the player dropped by the two Johns earlier in the season.

Kerr cited the signing of Stefan Oakes as an statement of intention from Peter Jackson, and revealed he cannot wait for the new season to get underway.
