Keith Alexander has been given the all clear to return to work with Macclesfield Town after his brain injury scare.
Alexander was rushed to hospital before the 2-0 defeat at home to Bournemouth and left the Silkmen in the care of Gary Simpson.
However it has been revealed today it was nothing more than a precaution, and Alexander will return to Moss Road and resume his duties.
Alexander achieved legendary status at Sincil Bank during his second reign at the club, making the play offs for four seasons in a row. Discontent grew as The Imps failed to achieve promotion and he eventually left for Peterborough Utd. The Imps made the play offs for a fifth year, but have been unable to have an impact since then.
