Jacko Confident For Injured Duo

Paul Connor and Cian Hughton both left last nights game with minor injuries, but Jacko is confident they can return quite swiftly to competitive action.

Forward Connor (hamstring) and defender Hughton (knock) were substituted as the Imps were beaten 2-0 by Kevin Blackwell's Sheffield Utd last night.

Lincoln boss Peter Jackson told the local media: "We took Paul off as a precaution because he was feeling his hamstring and there is no point taking any risks. I'm quietly confident that it is not serious. Cian also had to come off at half-time because he took a knock, but I felt Danny Hone did a good job when he came on as his replacement."

Meanwhile there are rumours that Scott Kerr and Lennel John Lewis could return from injury for tomorrows County Cup Final with Scunthorpe. Scott picked up an injury in Germany and LJL has been out for some time but both are hoping to play some part in tomorrows game, in a squad that will otherwise be made up of youth players and senior pro's looking to make their mark.
