IS THIS THE OS-MAN?

The up and coming starlet (20) fits the bill perfectly. He is an attack-minded central midfield man who also earns his fair share of goals.

Imps manager Alan Buckley yesterday stated that – “I'm also aware of a very promising central midfield player at Everton who we'd like to have a look at.”

“We're currently waiting for an answer from them as to whether they could see their way to let us have him until the end of the season.”

Planet Imp reported a few days ago that – “A serious cruciate ligament injury hampered Osman's rising progress, hindering his chances of breaking into the first team at the same time as Peter Clarke and Tony Hibbert. “I've had to get my head down and work hard. Now I'm on the right trail, and hopefully I can get back to where I was,” said an optimistic Osman, after his long-term absence. Making up for lost time, could signal a little taster of experience in the lower leagues – a team such as Lincoln perhaps.”

Versatile midfield man Kevin McLeod and influential reserves skipper Keith Southern both come firmly into the picture.

While there are some suggestions that midfielder Damien Curran will make a move to the Imps after completing his current weekly trial at Cheltenham Town.

The highly promising young talent in question would join the Imps on loan until the end of the season, with a view to taking him on for a long duration of the following season.

Here's the list that Buckley could choose from –
