Steven Lennon sustained an ankle injury in the same game and he will face a late check along with Stefan Oakes and Richard Butcher, who have hamstring problems.
Chris Herd will not recover from his ankle injury in time but Clark Keltie is expected to provide some relief for Sutton by returning to the squad after a three-game absence.
New signing David Stephens should go into the squad after joining on loan from Norwich.
Drewe Broughton has returned to Rotherham following his loan spell and with Lenell John-Lewis (hamstring) injured and Paul Connor short of fitness, Sutton is looking to get another striker in on loan.
