The 20-year-old will go straight into the Imps squad to face Hereford at home on Friday night.
Reid has been training with Lincoln and played in the last two reserve-team matches, scoring on both occasions.
The former England Youth international had a spell at non-league Rushden & Diamonds earlier this season.
