The two are spending a week on trial with the Imps in a bid to impress the Lincoln City assistant Keith Alexander. The pair figured in the Avon Insurance League Division One reserve game this week.

Central defender, Mordey joined the Premiership club at the tender age of 13 and was a regular in their Under 19's last season.

Lacey is a right-winger who got his chance with the Black Cats having been spotted playing for Irish team Bohemians. He has been a regular for both their Under-17s and Under-19s.

Lacey netted on 55 minutes to give the Imps reserves a 1-0 lead against Blackpool in midweek.
