It was widely anticipated that new Imps boss Chris Sutton would be looking to add a few fresh faces to the squad, and he utilised one of the contacts mentioned on LCM on Wednesday.
Roy Hodgson has allowed 6ft Adam Watts to sign on a months loan, and he goes straight into the squad for Saturdays visit of Aldershot.
The 21 year old has previously had loan spells at Northampton Town and MK Dons.
It's also rumoured that Sutton may be looking to add a new face to the forward line, with some suggesting that Norwich City man jamie Cureton may want to come and help out his former team mate.
