Ex Imps find new clubs

Imps legend Alan Marriott has decided not to turn his back on football and has signed for ex League side Rushden and Diamonds. Mazza is welcomed to Nene Park and will offer a wealth of lower league experience to the Northants side. Its thought both Crawley and Luton Town were chasing his signature, but the prospect of 150+ journeys to work didn't really appeal and he is keen to stay in Lincoln.

Mark Stallard has signed for Mansfield Town. The popular, bustling striker makes Mansfield his fourth Midlands club after The Imps, Notts County and Derby. Everyone at LCM wishes both these Imps players well.

Defender Adie Moses has also signed for Mansfield Town after a two year spell with City. Moses found a starting place hard to come by last season, and despite being a gentleman off the pitch he didn't manage to become a force on it. Again LCM wishes Moses the best of luck at Mansfield.

Finally ex Imp Michael Blackwood has also signed for Mansfield Town as they look to rebuild a squad destroyed by relegation out of the league. Its perhaps interesting that three of last seasons squad have joined teams relegated from the league last season, as Nat Brown signed for Wrexham after his release from City.

Its thought Ryan Amoo has been seen signing a dole application in the Midlands, but this is as yet unconfirmed.
