Rumours around the school yards of Lincoln suggested that ex Man Utd player Dwight Yorke might be on trial at Lincoln.
However manager Chris Sutton has dismissed speculation linking the player with City.
Sutton told local media: "It's absolute nonsense. We could talk hypothetically about anyone really, Diego Maradona coming or whoever."
"It's nonsense. He was a great player but he's retired and that's that."
So there we go rumour mongers, no Dwight Yorke. Here at LCM we love a good rumour, but one with foundations or an ounce of believability might be nice.
