Sutton said: "We did not deal with their long throws or their corners as well as I would have liked.

"Defending set-pieces are a fundamental part of football and you have to deal with balls coming into the box and we didn't do it well enough.

"If we want to get better in the long-term, then this is something we need to address and I do feel we missed Ian Pearce's presence at the back. Positionally, Danny Hone and Moses Swaibu were decent, but it was just the aerial threat.

"We go to Torquay on Saturday and they have a long throw (strategy). If we are to get anything, then that is something we are going to have to work on."
