Its striker Gall who should be getting pulses racing at Sincil Bank. Jacko says that gall was the man he was always after, and it took him a couple of months to persuade the pacy frontman to choose Lincoln ahead of Toronto and Cheltenham. Gall signs initially on a six month loan deal, but has stated his intention to try and win a permanent move to the club.

He played for Bristol Rovers after being released as a youngster by Newcastle, before moving to Yeovil Town where he had arguably his most prolific and eyecatching run of football. He was once named Player of the round in the FA Cup after Charlton narrowly defeated his side Yeovil 3-2. Gall scored his first league goal for new side Carlisle against his former club Yeovil.

Following a trial with Toronto he spent a month on loan at Darlington, but at the end of the season Carlisle boss John Ward told Gall he was free to leave. He stated his intention to stay at the club, turning down both Cheltenham and Toronto before finally agreeing to revive his career at Sincil Bank.

Local lad Sam Mullarkey has earned himself a one year deal after a couple of impressive outings in pre season. Mullarkey played last season at Grantham Town after being released by Forest as a youngster, and the 20 year old forward has done enough to earn himself a chance to shine on a bigger stage. He signs for an undisclosed fee.

The Imps are also still looking at Romanian forward Adrian Patulea, but surely he would complete the forward line along with Ben Wright and David Graham.
