The club issued a Press Release this afternoon, stating that…

Following on from the recently announced association with Everton FC we are delighted to confirm that a similar and important arrangement has been finalised with the Mid Lincs Youth League.

The Mid Lincs Youth League, consisting of 320 registered teams ranging from 7 years through to 16 years, is a highly respected league and recognised as one of the most successful and progressive within the UK. The importance to Lincoln City FC in having access to some 4,500 junior footballers cannot be over emphasised and should considerably enhance the opportunities available to our youth development programme.

With the pending announcements of locally based Training Development Centres throughout the county the Mid Lincs players will have the opportunity to attend organised coaching sessions without the customary restrictions and regulations being imposed upon them as are required within the rules attached to Academies and Centres of Excellence.

Lincoln City FC will be offering not only courses designed to improve the level of treatment of injuries within their league structure but are pleased to make available discounted ticketing arrangements to encourage their attendances at first team home fixtures.
