Notts County goalkeeper Russell Hoult has been sidelined for up to two months with a shoulder problem.

The 36-year-old former Lincoln keeper sustained a shoulder injury earlier in the week, which resulted in an operation on Wednesday.

Manager Ian McParland told local radio: "He just dived for a ball and went down on his shoulder.

"He is going to be a big miss for us but I've got no worries at all about Pilks [Kevin Pilkington] going between the sticks."

He is the third ex Lincoln player to miss out on tomorrows clash following suspension for Jamie Forrester and an injury to Richard Butcher.
