Amoo Leaves In Jacko Shake Up

Amoo joined City two seasons ago from Northampton Town as an ex John Deehan protege at Aston Villa and the Cobblers. His early form was promising with good displays away at Mansfield and most notably away at Peterborough in December 2006 where he struck twice in a 2-1 win. However the tiny wide man failed to hold down a place once John Schofield and John Deehan left the club, and it was no surprise to see him leave The Imps today having hardly featured at all under Jacko and Iffy Onuora.

Amoo's departure will be a good thing for a majority of Imps fans. Imps supporter Steve Coppin said just a day ago that 'If anyone ought to leave its Ryan Amoo'. Well Steves wish and that of many Imps fans came true today in the latest part of Jacko's rebuilding process.
