Having been doing the rounds on the other message boards, it has been obvious to see that certain factions of the Sincil Bank faithful have already become discontented with the style of play that Alan Buckley has brought to Lincoln City Football Club. So, in the opinion of this Editor.....

What a load of codswallop

Alan Buckley has a record of success in the lower reaches of the Football League, having taken Grimsby into the First Division, via an Auto-Windshield Cup win at Wembley. When he came to Lincoln last season, with only a handful of games to go, he promised us that he would not let Lincoln City be relegated.

He delivered

He told us of his plans for Lincoln City Football Club, and his commitment to getting us into a higher standard of football, but that it would take time. He also warned the faithful that they should not expect too much from this season, as it would be a time for rebuilding. And he has thus far been proved correct.

Lincoln lie in 15th place at present, with a healthy away record and a 5 point gap between us and Halifax who sit in 92nd place in the football league. And it isn't even Xmas yet.

Having spoken to fans, most seem quite happy with Buckley and what he is trying to achieve. Some however do not...........so this is MAD's offer to any Lincoln City Fan who thinks that Alan Buckley is not up to the job. If they type a logical and non-insulting article to counter my own for this site it will be posted, to give fans an alternative view of recent developments at Sincil Bank.
