LCM are delighted to announce a new feature for the coming season, where we'll get players past and present to take the hotseat and answer some questions for us. in addition to 'taking the hotseat' the players will also be featuring in a series of player profiles, tracking their careers which will build up into a fantastic databse of some of your favourites past and present.

We are delighted to announce that Notts County midfielder Richard Butcher will be the first player to feature in this exciting new feature.

Goalscoring Midfielder Butcher
'Butch' was a popular Imps midfielder from the golden era of five play off appearances, twice featuring at The Millenium Stadium for us. He left at the end of the 2005 season for a higher division, but unfairly suffered a rough time at his new club Oldham. A spell at Peterborough followed, and after briefly appearing for City again he signed for current club Notts County in 2007.

The interview will appear on here in the coming weeks, and will be followed by pieces on other players connected with the Imps. Look out over the next few days for Richard Butchers biography in the 'Ex Imps' section of the site.
