A new Richard Butcher Memorial Fund set up by his family hopes, with the help of Lincoln City, Macclesfield and Notts County fans, pay for permanent memorials to Richard and former manager Keith Alexander at Sincil Bank and Moss Rose,
The first fund raising event for the cause will see members of both families run in the Lincoln 10k road race on April 3.
