Jackos Back - Bradford Give Jacko Dream Opportunity

Last updated : 05 March 2011 By Neil Hobbs

Bradford City have today announced that Peter Jackson - a legend on and off the pitch at Valley Parade will finally get what many Lincoln City and Huddersfield Town fans felt was his real calling in life - the Bantems  managerial job. In their time of need they have sensationally called upon the man who was Captain on the fateful day of the fire.

This is by no means a permanent deal with him being awarded the job on a week-to-week basis until the board decide whether he or one of those they are still yet to interview get the job. Dave Wetherall will be his assistant.

Though there are questions over his tactical ability Jacko has passion aplenty and with the resources Bradford have expect him to make his usual immediate impact. Thankfully now over his cancer he gave us an emotional rollercoaster ride deviding Imps just as he had done Terriers.

But it remains to be seen whether he can make the transition from the Lord Of The Imps To The Boys from Brazil.

Good luck Jacko thanks
